Don’t keep the projector in a closed chamber without ventilation, or any circumstance that makes the projector overheat; excessive heat may result in a shorter life of the projector and your lamp. Clean air filters regularly. Don't shake or vibrate the projector when it is on or in the cooling down mode. The bulb is extremely fragile. Lamps are fragile in many circumstances. When changing a lamp, do not touch the actual bulb or burner itself use a cloth or a tissue to handle the bulb.. The oils from your fingers may stay on the bulb causing hot spots. Filters should be inspected and replaced as needed, typically more often than the bulb for peak performance.
